Students who are deemed competent will receive RII60320 Advanced Diploma of Underground Coal Mining Management. This is recognised as a qualifying course for sitting the statutory exams for mine manager in both New South Wales and Queensland. The 13 units of competency in this course are nationally recognised. There are 10 core units plus at 3 electives to do to be awarded this qualification.
